first off, i went tuition in the afternoon, right after i took a flu pill. Because i was feeling all runny-nosey before that.

Then I almost fly zeff’s plane for the bash, because i had some presentation coming up and i had done up the slides yetm but still went anyway.

There is something about bashes that i quite don’t understand, why are they more often than not, boring? one of the reasons i could come up with was the presence of contestants that 1) you know, 2) have any remote connection to, or 3) are chio. (P:S> i dont care much about the guys because i dont really feel for the concept of male beauty) all in all the bash was boring which made us follow Weidong’s footsteps to dblO.

This was the first time that I drank more than one glass of liquor. This was the first time I felt my limit. This was the first time that I really felt the brotherhood of the three of us. Haa.. it was also the first time that I tripped over someone and fell. Quite a liberating experience.

Speaking of liberation, someone was dancing like he/she was liberated and attracted quite a bit of attention from the opposite female/male sex. Haa =X

Then there was this cute girl who offered our fallen combatant a drink and I swear her friend told me that we should call the police to arrest the drunkard and I pretend not being able to make out what words she was saying. but eventually she went for the glass of water instead. Haa

I also realised that I am more articulate with words when I am a bit tipsy. Maybe the alcohol broke some kind of restrain i had on myself but still I don’t enjoy the remote possibility of getting high just with liquor. I prefer to get high on the dance floor. so zeff, you dont have to push drinks to me next time! Haa

And I was almost caught in a fight. not personally but the buildup to the action was just about to end next to me, which eventually escalated to a real fight that needed police to actually intervene. According to someone experienced, this is a common behavior of drunkards. alcohol dulls the sense, resulting in a loss of logic at times. (in my experience, i was still thinking about chemistry when I was high, other than other socially meaningful interpretation of the group behavior of various people. maybe alcohol makes you think about other rubbish that concerns you.)

Haa, all in all, it’s a good experience that I will never forget or regret.

i cracked so many lousy jokes (if they qualified anywhere near a joke) haha. I feel like i am so back to myself. Or at least a happy/lame self.

Even if I dreamt of her just before waking up. Maybe it’s really about time to wake up fully. But that didnt stop me from having a great day.

On top of that, I had the worst result of the week(I hope) My iron compound decomposed and I didnt try out any catalysis today.

Oh I think the best joke I had in all day was the one about the sperm surfactant. OK so desmond had this diagram of a surfactant, with a polar head and hydrophobic tail, throughout his presentation. At the end he has a thank you message along with a big surfactant-sperm drawing. We were all holding our laughter until Boss pointed out that it looked like a sperm. Then desmond explain why the picture is as such and he mentioned something about it being ‘personalised’… then I decided to try my luck. I said ‘its more like half-a-person than personalised’ BAMMMM, everyone, except boss and desmond, responded to that.

Its not my usual moody, quiet self and I like it! Maybe its the phenylacetaldehyde working its way into my brain. HA!

‘her’ being the one i missed the most. although its been like 9 years, she still looks the same. i realised that everytime i see her, i just look at her face. at her smile. i just want to know that she is happy. of coz me, being the ball-less excuse for a living being, didn’t go up to her and ask if she still rmbs me. maybe she suffered from amnesia and long forgotten about me. but i just cannot forget that gaze in her eyes when our sights crossed path at macdonalds last year. why don’t i have the guts to face her? it’s not as if i did anything wrong. she just disappeared from my life. its like i took a rollercoaster ride in one day and the next, the rollercoaster is gone.

on another note, i saw benjamin in the canteen today. he no longer dons colorful hair because he’s now a professional doctor. haha.

and when i took 243W home tonight (hoping that i will bump into her and maybe i will pluck more courage to face her). Instead I saw ruyi on the bus. what a coincidence lor. but too bad she didnt see me. she looked very drained tho.

another thing: after watching koizora sky of love, i am inspired to start writing my lil script called “the things that I will do for you” i might forget about it tomorrow so i should probably start writing soon. until next time.

I also dreamt about TBH. we went to this temple next to my home and he was lost. then i had to go find him and bring him to the temple.

The night was extremely cold. BRRRRR but i had a good sleep. and a good dream. Maybe I should take some positive action today.

My highest was when I went to lab supplies and met this pretty girl! haha ok not really met. the only line of conversation that passed between the two of us was when her mentor (who speaks really fast chinese dialect) tried to ask me where i got the basket. of course, with my sloth-like hearing and comprehension speed, i was like ‘huh?’. then she had to play translator for that line. haha. on a sidenote, her supervisor is really rich! two baskets full of glassware. WTF. Anyway, her supervisor is just next door, so I would get to see this piece of eyecandy quite often. Eyecandy pruss wan!

On other news, I was slacking in the canteen while he was having lunch. Then there was this pussycat that caught our attention. she kept going to ppl to beg for food. then me and honglee began to talk about senseless cat crap, with content like “the truth behind the origin of ‘singapura’ ” and the japanese-taped-cat video.

So I was chewing on my ginger oxford which tasted horrible. Then i came up with my own rendition of the origin of the ‘ginger oxford’. The ginger cookie taste was made to induce an ‘old’ and ‘scholarly’ (thus, oxford-ly) feeling. Then HL mentioned that old may not be scholarly. All the crap we have while slacking. So I decided to give the pussycat pieces of my cookies to see which one she preferred. She took a bite of my ginger oxford and left the rest on the floor! really damn picky leh!

By this time, I was damn bored but still in a good mood. So i went back to lab and eventually went for the X-ray lecture. It was quite boring because the only part that is new to us, is all the experimental stuff for X-Ray crystallography, and JJ was going so fast, that i think we probably finish the lecture materials in 2-3 weeks.

Then there was the environmental lecture. Dr. Chan only posted the notes at 6 when i was at X-ray already! So we had to do without notes for half the lecture. then when i was going home, I met yongyao at the bus-stop. he said that I was virtually chit-chatting there the whole time lar. He, on the other hand, was more productive – marking his tuition stuff. -_-…

speaking of loan, I am damn pissed with CBOC’s service. At first, when i told them i wanted to pay my loans partially by monthly repayments using cash, they told me i could only pay cash once, and had to open an bank account. So I opened a savings bank account(service charge of $2 if balance falls below $1000). The problem is that I could have opened a basic bank account(service charge of $2 if balance falls below $500). , given that my monthly income was essentially $0. And to open the basic bank account, i have to close the savings bank account, paying $30 early termination charge. my rationale for them not offering the basic bank account was that the guy wanted to gain some kind of commission from the savings bank account.

So I went out to run an experiment on my own. To prove that I can pay cash twice, I took out $1000 cash and went to CBOC to pay my second instalment (my parents paid off half the loan using cash). And the bank teller took my money, no questions asked. I was so pissed that i took out essentially every cent from my CBOC bank account leaving $30 for them to deduct the service charge ($12 over 6months is better than $30, so screw you CBOC). I will close the acccount in 6 months and repay the rest in cash from my posb account. (double screw you CBOC)

lesson learnt: DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE YOU BUY SOMETHING. SERIOUSLY.
